Welcome to the Canberra MTB Trail Guide!
This site aims to introduce experienced mountain bikers (and hopefully entice those new to the sport) to the fantastic network of trails ready to be ridden in the nation’s capital. Some of Canberra’s trails are world class, with the prime example being Mt Stromlo.
Funding from the ACT Government has allowed experienced trail designers and professional mountain bikers to have input into creating an enjoyable and sustainable network of trails which are safe for the beginner, yet technical and varied enough to successfully host World Championship events.
We are lucky in Canberra to have such a wide selection of trails available so close to the city centre, with other great riding locations such as Thredbo and the South Coast only a couple of hours drive away. We hope to share this mountain biking haven with you, so explore the site, then get out and explore the trails!
